报告人简介:

        Claudia K.Y. LAI is an Honorary Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Consultant at the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences, Hong Kong Adventist College. She has two main research programs – the care of people with dementia and their families and the care of frail older adults. She focuses on interventional and implementation research, aiming to make an impact on the health and wellbeing of humankind through changes in practice. She publishes widely and won a number of research and education awards for her work on health promotion, knowledge dissemination, and dementia care. She serves as an honorary advisor to NGOs and professional associations. Over the course of her career, she volunteers her time for local and international professional initiatives. She was an elected Board Member of the Alzheimer’s Disease International from 2009-2011. A member of Sigma Theta Tau International (Sigma) since 1994, she was elected Sigma’s first Asia Regional Coordinator (2011-2015). She was inducted into International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame in 2018. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing since 2015 and awarded as a Distinguished Educator in Gerontological Nursing by the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence (NHCGNE) in 2021. She was a Board Director of NHCGNE from 2018 to 2021. Presently, she is an Associate Editor of a Wiley journal “Research in Nursing & Health,” published by the Southern Nursing Research Society  under the auspice of the University of Pennsylvania, USA. She is among the world’s top 2% cited scientist in own field (single recent year impact) and also named in the database of top-cited scientists in career-long impact.
